Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Her two younger sisters were her caregivers, but she was often bullied in schools due to her larger thighs. In 2009, she was a guest on "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful At Any Size". Graham made headlines for the second time in 2009 as she appeared in a controversy-making Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned in many countries. When the ad was removed from YouTube, it had been viewed over 800,000. The controversy grew until Graham appeared with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham became a well-known plus size model. Grande began acting and singing when she was young. She won the role of 13 at Broadway in 2008, and began to appear in small parts in TV series. The year 2010 was when she had her biggest breakthrough, landing a part on the Nickelodeon television show Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. She appeared in Sam & Cat, a spin-off show that ran from 2013 until 2014.
